Greg Colleton

A native of McClellanville, SC, Greg developed a passion for the arts young; as a visual artist at Charleston County School of the Arts. Greg went to Winston-Salem State University, where he received a BA in studio arts with a concentration in sculpture. As an NC undergrad, he was the regional student rep/curator for the 4D Gallery, Dada Center of the Arts, and the University Gallery. He moved back to Charleston to pursue his career in arts management. To highlight the “gray area” of art in Charleston, he opened a gallery/pop-up art concept, Gris Galerie, with a friend and former colleague, Elizabeth Bowers. Greg curated the 2016 Piccolo Spoleto City Gallery exhibition and the Clemson University Art Department CSA. He was a juror for the Greenville Artisphere festival, Charleston Parks Conservancy, Coastal Community Foundation Lowcountry Artist of the Year, and the North Charleston Arts Fest. He has been a juror for SOA’s application process and several other selection committees statewide. Mostly, he was committed to an art career as Director of Operations at Redux Contemporary Art Center for six years.

He serves as the Executive Director of Yo Art INC.
